A fashion and design education start-up company in Manhattan is looking for a Personal/Design Assistant to CEO. The ideal candidate should be proficient in design tools (i.e. Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and offices suites(e.g. Excel, Word, and Keynotes). Fluent in English and Mandarin is a must for this position.

Job responsibilities

Administrative
•Provide administrative/secretarial support, including transcribing/typing of all letters, memos, reports, minutes, etc.; processes incoming and outgoing mail, routing appropriately, recording and following up as required
•Oversee heavy calendar management and schedule in Outlook
•Organize extensive international and domestic travel arrangements
•Arrange lunches and dinners with high profile Executives
•Process multiple expenses reports in an accurate and timely manner
•Provide detailed travel itineraries, prepare all travel documentations. Must have experience in business travel with executives
•Plan and create team building events (off site meetings, dinners etc)
•Translate documents between Mandarin and English in a fast and accurate manner
•Prepare materials for executive meetings
•Take on additional projects and duties as needed

Creative
•Create Keynote presentations for CEO (and team)
•Research new contacts/partners for CEO before meetings
•Research new business models and areas of business
•Work on team building events

Qualifications
•Bilingual in Mandarin and English is required
•Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree preferred
•Previous experience in a similar position preferred
•Proficient in MS Office suite with expertise in Microsoft Software (Word, Keynotes, and Excel)
•Proficient in design tools (Illustrator, Indesign, and Photoshop)
•Detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
•Superior time management skills
